The old building does not make up the school, it is the programs that are offered as well as the fantastic faculty, staff and leadership. This was her last year there, and she will be going to continue the program at Marrington Middle School. Without the foundation of education that she acquired at HH AIMS, she would not be as successful in academics and the arts as she is now. I cannot wait for my son to start attending the school in the near future. Both administrations were supportive of the students and parents as well as the community. “My child is at the end of her first year at HHA and it has been such a joy to see her blossom. She is very confidant and is self motivated to learn to read and write. She is blessed to have been a part of the great foundation that the school and teachers have provided. Of course, what is taught in school needs to be nurtured at home and it is ashame that some parents rely solely on the teachers as being the main influence in their learning. The exposure to culture, arts and music is very important when teaching children how to be well rounded and I look forward to the next couple of years of her learning.”

“My son attends Howe Hall. The building is very old, but the program (Art Infused Magnet School) is rather new. I'm happy that all children have a chance to participate in performances and art infusion. The children are provided with many programs that other public schools in the area cannot give their students. I see it as a work in progress! Keep up the good work!”

“I was not impressed with this school at all. I have had several children go through this school and there is just nothing to grab my attention. This school itself is rundown and sometimes you think that maybe the staff is too. They say we want parents, but it just did not feel welcoming to me. There are a handful of teachers that make a difference. I am encouraged though with the moving into the new school that was built to replace Howe Hall (Goose Creek Primary). The teachers as well as all the staff seem to have a new outlook and are excited about teaching and what they could do for the children. It feels very welcoming and open for visitation by the parents. So with the new school year('03-'04)and new building, the teachers, staff, children, and parents seem to have a happy and encouraging outlook on things. I guess the change of where you teach makes a huge difference in how you teach. Things are looking up for these children and that is a great feeling.”
