The Charleston Catholic School Reviews

I have two children at Charleston Catholic School . Previously we were in the public school system and felt that if your child was not causing any problems then they were forgotten. Both my children are on the honor roll and have developed incredible self worth and independence at this school. The location and the facilities throw some parents off by the 'heart' of this school is incredible. My husband and I call it the hidden gem of Charleston's schools.

During this school year, I have had to deal with many inconsistencies, that I should not have had to. The lack of understanding that we have received continues to grow. The school seems to be unable to provide the proper discipline program. The current program is inconsistent, and should be the same for every student. I have been disappointed in the location of the school. I am very disappointed in this school, especially since it is so expensive. I sent my children here to protect them, not expose them to the very thing I sent them there for.

My son has received much needed one-on-one attention here from his teachers. The children here treat each other with respect and kindness something we were missing at former school. The band program is terrific. 41% of the middle school play in the band! Christ-centered.

CCS is a wonderful school. You will recieve the best education possible. I've graduated from CCS, and have a higher academic standing than the other students at my school. If it was not for CCS I would not be who I am today. CCS teaches you morals and provides a good education. It is a very disciplined school. My family was a part of the school for 12 years. CCS provides a good foundation for high school and the future. The school has the best teachers, and they work for very little money. It is one of the very few private schools that has somewhat diversity. CCS is a great school.

CCS over the recent years has declined in providing consistent and positive educational and disciplinary feedback. It was a wonderful school but now lacks in offering the ability to properly handle children in their pre-teen and teen years. There is no caring or understanding for the emotional needs of our wonderful children. It seems to only care about academic standing to entice others to enroll their children.
